Privacy policy
How this website handles — and mostly avoids handling — your information.
Last updated: reviewed 2026
Project Research LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates this website. Privacy is the reason this company exists, so this policy is short by design: we collect as little as possible.
1. Information we do not collect
This website does not require accounts, does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and does not sell or share personal information. We do not build behavioral profiles of visitors.
2. Information you choose to give us
If you email us or use the contact form, that form opens your own email client — nothing is stored on this site. When you email us, we receive the information you send (such as your name, email address and message) solely to respond to you.
3. Hosting and server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and reliability. This is handled by the host under its own policies and is not used by us to identify or track you.
4. Third-party links
Our pages link to external sites and tools (for example software projects, YouTube and the Kaspersky threat map). Once you leave this site, those parties' own privacy practices apply. We are not responsible for their content or data handling.
5. Children
Protecting children is central to our mission. This site is not directed at collecting information from children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your choices
Because we don't maintain visitor accounts or profiles, there is little for us to hold. You can email us at any time to ask what correspondence we hold and to request its deletion.
7. Artificial intelligence disclosure
Project Research LLC uses AI tools — including Anthropic's Claude — to help develop, test and maintain this website and our software products (including SilverArrow), and to help draft or edit written content across this Site, our product documentation, and our social media posts and videos. AI-assisted content is reviewed by our team before publication, and no AI system interacts with visitors as though it were a person or independently represents Project Research LLC on this Site. We do not use AI to generate fake reviews, fabricated testimonials, or deceptive endorsements. If a specific feature ever uses AI to interact with you directly, that will be separately and clearly disclosed at the point of use.
8. Data nutrition label
Modeled on the Apple App Store and Google Play "data safety" formats, here's a plain summary of what this website collects:
| Data category | Collected? | Linked to you? | Used to track you? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contact info (name, email, message) — only if you email us or use the contact form | Only if sent by you | No — not linked to a profile | No |
| Identifiers (device ID, advertising ID) | No | — | No |
| Usage / analytics data | No | — | No |
| Location | No | — | No |
| Browsing history | No | — | No |
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar advertising/analytics tool on this Site. If that changes, we will update this table and this policy — and, where required (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act, "CCPA"), provide notice and an opt-out — before any such tool goes live.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page.
